How to play darts online against an opponent

Online X01 connects two players at two real boards: each throws at home on their own board and enters their hits, and the app keeps both scores in sync. There is no board on the screen; it is your normal X01, just with the opponent somewhere else.

  1. 1One person taps “Create room” and becomes the host. They get a six-character code.
  2. 2They pass the code to the opponent, by message, call or shout.
  3. 3The opponent types the code under “Join room” and confirms with “Join”.
  4. 4Once both are in the room, the host starts via “Start game”.
  5. 5You take turns: whoever is up throws at their own board and enters each dart, then the other takes over.

Upper and lower case in the code do not matter, the app converts your input. Via “Leave” you can return from the room at any time.

A note on honesty: online, everyone enters their own throws, just like when playing side by side. So it works with an opponent you trust, not as a controlled tournament against strangers.
